Terms of service

Last updated June 1, 2026

This is placeholder copy for the Sonosight terms of service. Replace these sections with your own legal language before launch — nothing here is binding or reviewed by counsel.

01

Agreement to terms

By accessing or using Sonosight you agree to be bound by these terms. This is sample text standing in for a real agreement; it describes, in plain language, the relationship between you and Sonosight while you use the product.

02

Use of the service

You may use Sonosight to fingerprint catalog you own or control, scan streaming platforms for derivative works, and manage royalty claims. You agree not to misuse the service, attempt to disrupt scanning infrastructure, or upload works you have no right to.

03

Accounts & plans

Paid plans renew on the cadence shown at checkout. Plan limits — scans per month and catalog size — follow the tier you select. You can change or cancel a plan from settings; placeholder terms would describe proration and refunds here.

04

Royalties & claims

Sonosight surfaces derivative works and estimates royalties waiting to be claimed. Estimates are informational. Final amounts are determined by the platforms and rights organizations that process each claim.

05

Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the music you upload. Sonosight retains rights to the product, brand and detection technology. Placeholder language about licenses granted to operate the service would appear here.

06

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonosight is provided "as is." This placeholder section would cap liability and disclaim warranties in your final, counsel-reviewed terms.

07

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-product or by email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
